For holders of electronic passports:
Based on what was issued by the General Directorate of Lebanese General Security, the Consulate General of Lebanon in Dubai announces the final cessation of receiving applications for obtaining electronic passports of the 2003 type (dark blue - old model) as of 6/1/2023, and holders must obtain a biometric passport from Lebanon by submitting their application directly to the General Directorate of General Security.
With the exception of children who have not completed the age of fifteen and persons over the age of sixty, where an application for a biometric passport can be submitted through this mission for a period of:
• Five years for those under the age of fifteen (fees of 1105 AED in cash)
• Ten years for those over the age of sixty (fees of 2210 AED in cash)
It is possible to apply for a passport renewal for one year or 2 years (handwritten renewal), provided that the Lebanese signs a pledge to obtain a new biometric passport from Lebanon exclusively.
Note that these passports will be withdrawn by the Lebanese General Security upon entry to Lebanon. A biometric passport must be duly obtained.
Required documents:
• Current passport and 2 copies of it
• 2 copies of the residency.
• New Lebanese ID card and 2 copies of it or an individual registration statement issued less than ten years ago with a photo ID and 2 copies of it.
• Two recent full-face photos measuring 3.5 x 4.3 with a white background and not copied from an old photo.
• The presence of the father and mother is mandatory for minors (under the age of eighteen)

1 year: 225 AED in cash
2 years: 450 AED in cash

NEW BORN
- Presence of both parents is mandatory
- Applications for new biometric passports for 5 years only will be sent to Lebanon by diplomatic pouch and returned to the Consulate in the same way. It will take a period between 6 to 8 weeks.
- The application can be sent through DHL fasttracklb.dhl.com with an additional cost of 143.21$ to be paid online by Credit Card, it will take 2 to 3 weeks.
- DHL documents should be printed and presented at the Consulate Upon applying.
Required documents to apply for a new born baby passport.
- New Lebanese Passport application filled.
- Original Personal Extract of civil status (Ikhraj Kaid Ifrady) with two photocopies.
- A photograph of the new born baby should be on the Ikhraj Kaid.
- Original Passports of both parents with two photocopies.
- Two recent color photos (Size 4,3 x 3,5 cm not drawn from another photos) showing full details of the face on a white background.

For Biometric passport:
Applicant can not apply for renewing , Adult applicant can apply for a new Biometric Passport for 10 years only and applicant under 18 years old can apply for a new biometric passport for 5 years only.
Applications for passports will be sent to Lebanon by diplomatic pouch and returned to the Consulate in the same way it will take a period between 6 to 8 weeks.

For applicants who are under 18 years old of age, they do not need to appear in person, the presence of both parents is required
Required documents for Passport .
1. The original passport with two photocopies including the residency page.
2. Recent extract of civil status (Ikhraj Kaid Ifrady) date of issue must not exceed 10 years, or Lebanese ID (new one computerized) .
3. Two recent color photos (Size 4,3 x 3,5 cm not drawn from another photos) showing full details of the face on a white background.
The applicant should be present in person in front of the consular officer .
For applicants who are under 18 years old of age, they do not need to appear in person, the presence of both parents is required
in order to sign a consent in front of the consular officer.
4- Fees: 1105 Dhs cash for Five Year.
2210 Dhs cash for Ten years.
- A Laissez Passer is granted to a new born in case of traveling before issuing the extract civil status.

- A copy of both parents' passport.
- A copy of a Family Extract Civil Status ( ikhraj kaid 3aili ).
- Four recent color photos (size 4.3 x 3.5 cm not drawn from another photo) showing full details of the face on a white background.
- Fees: 225 AED cash for one year.
- In case of lost passport, a laissez passer valid for three months is given for the purpose of returning to Lebanon.

Issuance of a laissez passer takes 4 working days.
The applicant should be present in person.

- Application for a laissez passer should be filled.
- Original police report with one photocopy.
- A letter written by the applicant stating the fact of how he lost his passport.
- Two photocopies of the lost passport (if available).
- Two photocopies of the Personal Extract of civil status (Ikhraj Kaid Ifrady) or the lebanese identity card.
- 4 recent photographs with white background.
- Fees: 225 Dhs.
- In case of dammaged passport, a laissez passer valid for three months is given for the purpose of returning to Lebanon.

Issuance of a laissez passer takes 4 working days.
The applicant should be present in person.

- Original police report with one photocopy.
- A letter written by the applicant stating the fact of how he the pssaport is damaged.
- Two photocopies of the lost passport (if available).
- Two photocopies of the Personal Extract of civil status (Ikhraj Kaid Ifrady) or the lebanese identity card.
- 4 recent photographs with white background.
- Fees: 225 Dhs.
